Lynn Olds appointed as new administrator of Greenfield Retirement Home

PRINCETON — The Adeline E. Prouty Board of Trustees has announced the appointment of Lynn Olds, LNHA, as administrator of Greenfield Retirement Home.

Olds is replacing Phillip Kaufmann who has served as the administrator since 2001.

William Beneke, president of the Adeline E. Prouty Board of Trustees, states, “The board is most appreciative of Phil Kaufmann for his 20 years of stellar service as Greenfield administrator, guiding us through a campus expansion and providing steady leadership throughout the ongoing pandemic, with Greenfield having gotten through the past year without a single resident testing positive for COVID-19. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors. At the same time, the board is pleased to welcome Lynn Olds as our new administrator. We believe that she is the right person at the right time, and we’re exceedingly impressed with her experience, energy and enthusiasm.”

Olds will provide leadership and oversee all operational functions for Greenfield. She will also serve as the lead person on interpreting and implementing regulatory compliance with the Illinois Department of Public Health. Olds is an experienced nursing home administrator and most recently worked at Liberty Village of Princeton. In addition to being a licensed nursing home administrator, Olds holds a certification in long-term care administration.

Olds has been working alongside Kaufmann to transition into the administrator role. The board and staff at Greenfield wish Kaufmann well as he enters retirement and thank him for his leadership through the past 20 years.
