Joe Bonnell, 40, of Dixon, became the president of Bonnell Industries Inc., in October, after working at the snowplow and salt spreader company for 22 years. He and his wife, Cindy Bonnell, 42, have three children, Joe, 18, Jessica, 16, and Jacob, 11. He is the son of Bob and Mary Bonnell of Dixon, and has two brothers, Bob Bonnell, 51, and Jim Bonnell, 43, both of Dixon; and two sisters, Chris Rappaport, 49, of White Hall, Pa., and Cherie Butler, 39, of Dixon.
On-the-job lesson: Honesty, integrity and service to customers.
Alma mater: I graduated in 1987 from Dixon High School.
Oughta be a law: I'd make integrity and fairness more widespread, especially in government.
Hearts: Spending time with my family, being outdoors, snowmobiling, skiing and going to movies.

First car: A 1978 Chevrolet Malibu when I was 16.
