Where did you grow up? Midland, Mich.

Immediate family? Husband and three children

Pets? Charlie, a Lab-mix; and Wrigley, a kitty – both rescues from Help for Endangered and Lost Pets

What song have you listened to recently? "Over the Rainbow" on Pandora Internet Radio

What's the best book you've read recently? "Notes From a Small Island" by Bill Bryson

What's your favorite thing about the town you live in? I like the wide open spaces, the ability to take my pup out and get out in the country

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I ran in the Chicago Marathon in 2006 and I'm thinking about running in the 2011 marathon when I'm 50.
