Kinnamon, Korth marry in Dwight

Bride’s son, Avery, served as ringbearer

DWIGHT, Ill. — Erika Lynn Kinnamon of Dwight, Ill., and Patrick David Korth of Ottawa, Ill., exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Dwight.

Patricia Morton officiated at the ceremony. The bride’s aunt, Jill Swanson of Princeton was vocalist.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Diana Kinnamon of Dwight. The groom is the son of the late Larry and Meta Korth. His step-mother is Lorinda Korth of Ottawa.

Erin Kruger of Odell was maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Angela Slaughter and Kristy Sassenger, both of Dwight, and Deb Carlino of Plainfield, Ill. Lauren Callison of Durant, Iowa, was flower girl.

Alan Rhuland of Ottawa was the best man. Groomsmen were Doug Hertzner, Dean Nodland and Dennis Weyer. The bride’s son, Avery Kinnamon, was ringbearer.

Special guests attending the ceremony were the groom’s grandfather, Leroy Muffler of Serena, Ill., and the bride’s grandparents, Charles and Donna Swanson of Ohio, Ill.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the parish hall. The bride’s uncles prepared the food. The food left over from the reception was donated to those helping in the tornado cleanup at the VFW the next morning.

The bride is a 1999 Dwight Township High School graduate. The groom graduated in 1999 from Ottawa Township High School.

The couple resides in Dwight.
