ROCK FALLS – Ricky Lee Housley, 57, of Tigard, Ore., formerly of Rock Falls, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010. He was a self-employed truck driver and musician.

Mr. Housley was born July 26, 1953, in Flint, Mich., the son of Harvey F. and Estella M. (Housley) Carroll. He married Connie Mocklin on Oct. 30, 1978, in Rock Falls.

Survivors include his mother of Lake Station, Ind.; two daughters, Sarah Housley of Rock Falls and Tammi Housley of Chicago; three sons, Dallas Housley and Austin Housley of Rock Falls, and Ricky Housley of Chicago; three sisters, Brenda Wathern and Chi Chi Valdez of Illinois, and Becky Meadows of Rolling Prairie, Ind.; two brothers, Gerald (Venetta) Carroll of Evergreen Park and Lonnie Carroll of Tigard, Ore.; his former wife, Connie of Rock Falls; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls, with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
