Maddox Rodriguez

DIXON – Maddox David Rodriguez, 4-month old son of Ronald Rodriguez Jr. and Brooke Slusser, went home to our Lord on Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn.

Maddox was born Sept. 14, 2010, in Dixon.

Along with his parents he also leaves his maternal grandparents, Tina Slusser of Dixon and Troy Slusser of Rock Falls; his paternal grandparents, Melissa (Gary) Sanders of Dixon and Ronald Rodriguez Sr. of Sterling; his maternal great-grandparents, Charlotte (Loren) Diffenbaugh of Rock Falls, Cindy (Jim) Moorehead of Rock Falls, and Troy F. Slusser of Lyndon; paternal great-grandparents, Frederick (Darlene) Taft of Dixon, Lynn (Donald) Asp of Franklin Grove and Rudolpho (Pieda) Saldivar of Rock Falls; maternal great-great-grandparents, Jim (Bonnie) Williams of Rock Falls and Maria Rodriguez of Aurora; and paternal great-great-grandparents, Ada (Lyle) Brown of Nelson, Frances Lippert of Dixon and Lena Taft of Dundee. He also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Maddox was preceded in death by his great-great-grandfather, Frederick F. Taft; great-great grandfather, Robert Lippert; great-great-great-grandmother, Carrie Ramsdell; great-grandfather, Jose Rodriguez; and a cousin, Nickolas Cox.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Alagille Alliance.
