ROCK FALLS – Shirley L. Crump, 72, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, July 17, 2011, at her home. She worked as a beautician for Modernette Beauty Shop for many years.
She was born March 10, 1939, in Madison, Minn., the daughter of Birdein and Henny (Twedt) Storlien. She married Edward Crump on Dec. 7, 1961, in Rock Falls. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Falls. Survivors include her husband, and one son, Jeff Crump, both of Rock Falls; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Beaumont Storlien; and one sister, Betty Storlien Brushaber.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Oehlert of St. John Lutheran Church, Sterling, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling,
