Paula J. Brown

DIXON – Paula Jean Brown, 57, of Dixon, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at her home.

Paula was born July 14, 1954, in Somerset, Ky., the daughter of Paul and Doris (Meece) Bothe. She married Rodney Brown in March 1975. He preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 2006.

Survivors include two daughters, Amber Brown of Calumet City and Candace Brown of Homewood; one brother, Jeff (Judy) Foster of Denver; four sisters, Debbie Naucke of St. Louis, Sandy (Dan) Burke of Grand Detour, Cheryl (Peter) Cervantes of Sterling and Melony Carver of Mendota; four grandchildren; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Second Baptist Church in Dixon with the Rev. Galon Darby officiating.

A memorial has been established.
