Donald L. Dennison

ROCK FALLS – Donald L. Dennison Sr., 60, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at his home. He worked at Wayne-Dalton in Sterling.

Donald was born April 19, 1951, in Owensboro, Ky., the son of Charles and Martha (Halstead) Dennison. He married Connie Meier on Jan. 24, 1976, in Lyndon.

Survivors include his wife of Rock Falls; two daughters, Stacy (James Farrington) Dennison of Rock Falls and Robin Dennison of South Carolina; two sons, Donald Dennison Jr. and Travis Dennison, both of Rock Falls; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles Dennison and James Dennison; one sister, Faye Simpson; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by the funeral at 2 p.m., Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, with Rev. John Kalebaugh of Refuge Church in Amboy, officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial will be at a later date at Lyndon Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to KSB Hospice.
