Anita E. Dziuban

DIXON – Anita E. Dziuban, 73, of Dixon, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born March 28, 1938, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Grace (Paoli) Zver. She was a founding member of the Act I theater group in Dixon. She also owned and operated Hot Dogs ETC, ETC, ETC.

Anita married George Dziuban on Sept. 21, 1957, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Franklin Park.

Anita is survived by her husband of Dixon; children, David George (Kathleen) Dziuban of Spring Grove, Mark Anthony (Susan) Dziuban of St. Charles, Thomas Michael Dziuban of Dixon and Georgann Kennay of Sycamore; seven grandchildren, Jessica (Nic) Winters, Jennifer Dziuban, Michelle Dziuban, Taylor Hecht, Mallory Hecht, Jordyn Kennay and Sydney Kennay; one great-grandson, Silas Winters; and a brother, John L. Zver of Streamwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Tom Zver.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be at a later date.

Arrangements were completed by Jones Funeral Home in Dixon.
