DIXON – Wayne B. Hoyle, 37, of Dixon, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. He had worked for Sauk Valley Motors, Butternut Bread, Auto Credit Now and had his own yard maintenance business.

Wayne was born Dec. 4, 1974, in Dixon, the son of Joseph and Ellen (McKnight) Hoyle. Wayne was a running back for the 1992 Dixon High School football team and set the record for most yards rushing in a single game with 282.

Wayne was a loving father and uncle and his children meant the world to him. He loved watching the Chicago Bears and enjoyed playing the drums.

Wayne married Shannon Beach May 4, 2002, at Franklin Creek State Park.

Survivors include his wife of Dixon; children, Joseph and Rebecca Hoyle; his mother of Dixon; brothers, William “Bill” Hoyle and John Hoyle, both of Dixon.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Rebecca “Becki.”

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by the funeral at noon Monday at Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery at Lee Center.

A memorial has been established.
