Roberta Lange

PRINCETON — Roberta June Lange, 87, of Princeton passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at Liberty Village of Princeton.

Born June 28, 1924, in Annawan to Frederick J. and Dorothy M. (Lambert) Miller, she married Richard W. "Jiggs" Lange July 29, 1946, in Mineral. He preceded her in death in 1987.

She graduated from Princeton High School and was a homemaker and child care provider most of her life.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Princeton. She was involved with Gateway Center due to her youngest daughter's special needs.

Surviving are eight children, Linda K. (Joseph) Merkel, Tommy W. (Debra) Lange, Helen J. (Jack) Koch, Richard L. (Nancy) Lange, John A. (Sherry) Lange, Carol A. (Mark) Whittington, Connie M. (Steve) Fairbanks and Mary Beth Lange; 21 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Lorna (Dean) Wyatt; and one brother, Loren F. Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Karen Sue Swearingen; four grandchildren; and two sisters and one brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Michael Slutz officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
