Senior Spotlight — James Dove

PHS senior wrestler/pole vaulter James Dove says his mother, Christine, is the person with the greatest influence on his life, because “she’s the adult figure that has been around from birth until today.” His stepfather, Chris Reed, is the person with the greatest influence on his athletic career because he talked his mom “into letting me do little league football which gave me the right kind of mentality to play sports competitively.” (BCR photo)

Favorite sport and why: Ugh? Don't have one.

Favorite food and where to get it: Peanut butter candies.

Likes: Free time, video games, sports, gas stations, magic tricks, money, food, learning dance moves, writing, friends, family, music, girls, games, running, cheering, surfing the internet, meeting new people, laughing.

Dislikes: Falling, losing or seeing persons get hurt, lack of time in a day, when days are the same with no highlight, winter.

Person with the greatest influence on my athletic career and why: Chris Reed because he talked my mom into letting me do little league football which gave me the right kind of mentality to play sports competitively.

Most embarrassing moment: I peed all over myself in junior high while I was talking to someone at the urinal.

What I would like to do in life: I would like to make a living doing something I truly enjoy.
