ROCK FALLS – Barbara J. Warren, 67, of Rock Falls, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.
She was born April 19, 1944, in Morrison, the daughter of Willard and Pauline (Tegler) Schaver. She married Luther L. Warren on Feb. 3, 1963, in Sterling.
Surviving are her husband; four children, Neal (Becky) Warren of Rockford, Scott (Kerri) Warren of Ada, Ark., Trisha (Jason Reynolds) Frump of Rock Falls and Marc Warren of Darlington, S.C.; her mother, Pauline Schaver Wherry of Sterling; one brother, Arnold D. Schaver of Rockford; two sisters, Paulette (Ken) Wolf of Galt and Wanda (Kenny) Wolf of Rock Falls; two stepbrothers, David (Linda) Wherry and James (Cindy) Wherry, both of Fulton; one stepsister, Linda (David) Rogis of Fulton; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Cantraras, Paula (Jimmy) Kardaras and Cory (Celie Jones) Warren, all of Bettendorf, Iowa, Sara (Bob) Stage and Lucas (Emily Davy) Warren, both of Rock Falls, Jessica Warren of Ada, Carli Frump and Chloe Frump, both of Rock Falls, and Gage Warren of Darlington; and five great-grandchildren, Angelina Cantraras, Demetrius Warren, Nicolus Warren, Athena Kadaras and Josslyn Pitchford.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Schaver; her stepfather, Boyd Wherry; and a grandson, Justin Warren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Ave., Rock Falls. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Zuithoff officiating. Burial will be at Fenton Cemetery.
