Jennifer Bendix of Mundelein and cashier at Jimano's Pizzeria in Mundelein took some time out of her schedule to answer a few questions from the Lake County Journal's Cassandra Dowell.
What do you enjoy about your job?
The food is phenomenal and my co-workers are all great people I enjoy being around.
Where did you grow up? In Mundelein.
What's something about you that would surprise most people? I have an irrational fear of birds.

Who is your favorite author? Jane Austen.
Do you have any pets? Yes, two Labrador Retrievers, Corduroy and Jericho
Something you're most excited about: My recent engagement to my boyfriend of five years, Ross Hendrix.
Hobbies? Reading, writing, cinema and poetry.
