LAKE IN THE HILLS – Ray and Jan Plote of Lake in the Hills celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a June 24 dinner party for family and friends at Boulder Ridge Country Club.

Janice Goede and Raymond Plote were married June 23, 1962, in Schaumburg.

He is founder and chief executive officer of Plote Construction Inc.

She also was a founder of Plote Construction Inc. and has been retired since 2002.

They enjoy golf, flying and travel.

They have two sons, Dan (Mary) Plote and David Plote.

They also have four grandchildren.
