The Gardner-South Wilmington High School Class of 1962 recently held its 50-year class reunion at Maria’s Restaurante in Morris.
Twenty-three classmates traveled from six states and Saudi Arabia to spend some time with their old friends. In 1962, there were 49 in the graduating class at Gardner-South Wilmington High School.
Thirteen are now deceased and were honored with a beautiful memorial.
Four teachers also joined the group: Marvin Kessler, Coal City; John Micetich, Coal City; Joe Coverdill, Lockport; and Wayne Morss, Dixon.
