DIXON – Wilson E. “Mac” McCullough, 80, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Pleasant View Rehab and Health Center in Morrison.
Mac was born on May 20, 1932, in Webb, Miss., the son of Wilson W. and Jewel (Scott) McCullough. He married Martha Cooper on July 21, 1957, in Clinton. Mac was employed as a maintenance supervisor at Northwestern Steel & Wire Co. for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Martha of Dixon; three sons, Gary (Grace) McCullough of Sterling, Timothy (Ethel) McCullough of Dixon and Randy (Cathy) McCullough of Rock Falls; two sisters, Mildred (Edwin) Dahlgren of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Lena Faye (Ira) Causey of Piggett, Ark.; one brother, A.J. (Sue) McCullough of Ellsinore, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael McCullough; two sisters, Hazel Williams and Maydean Turner; and one brother, John McCullough.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dalmus Meeks, pastor of Harvest Time Bible Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
