Phyllis A. Cunningham

MOUNT MORRIS – Phyllis A. Cunningham, 83, of Mount Morris, passed away Wednesday, Dec.12, 2012, at her home with her family by her side. She was a homemaker.

Phyllis was born, Feb. 4, 1929, in Dixon, the daughter of Peter and Amanda (Beidler) Phalen. She was united in marriage to Robert Cunningham on Aug. 30, 1947, in Dixon,

Survivors include her husband; daughters, Cheryl (John) Franklin of Brighton, Mich., Rosemary (James) Egan of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Cathy Fennel and Tammy (Rh) Garcia, both of Seguin, Texas; sons, David (Pamela) Cunningham of Polo, Craig (Debbie Jackson) Cunningham of Oregon, and Brian (Janet) Cunningham of Leaf River; sister, Nancy Paulsen of Mukilteo; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Michael Fennel; two sisters; and one brother.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Polo Family Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m., Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Polo.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon.
