Where did you grow up: Princeton.

Family: Husband - Tony, son - Michael (age 12).

Do you have any pets: We have a dog, Baxter, and a cat, Shadow.

Occupation: I'm a bilingual, first-grade teacher in Mendota and a photographer.

What was the last song you listened to: "Ho Hey" by The Lumineers.

What is the last book you read: I read a free romance novel on my Kindle.

What is the last television show you watched: "Bones."

If you were stranded on a desert island and could have just one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be: Pizza.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could take only one thing with you, what would it be: My camera.

What is your favorite local restaurant: Los Ranchitos, and of course, Kramer's Kitchen.

If someone handed you a million dollars, how would you spend it: I would pay off my house and car loans and finish remodeling my house.

People would be surprised to know that: I am fluent in Spanish!

What is your favorite thing about your community: I love living in a small town where I feel safe and where people know me everywhere I go.

If you could change one thing about your community, what would it be: Nothing. I think it's perfect!
