Chabalowski and Thatcher

LAKE IN THE HILLS – Announcement has been made of the engagement of Christine Chabalowski and Andrew Thatcher, both of Lake in the Hills.

She is the daughter of Mike and Liz Chabalowski of Crystal Lake. He is the son of Dave and Nancy Thatcher of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Cary.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Crystal Lake South High School and a 2007 graduate of Western Illinois University in Macomb with a degree in psychology and criminal justice. She is an executive assistant for Atlas Copco Compressors in Elk Grove Village.

Her fiancé is a 1998 graduate of Miller West High School in Omaha, Neb., and a 2005 graduate of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb with a degree in organizational/corporate communication. He is an underwriter at Markel Corp. in Deerfield.

They have plans for a November wedding.
