60th anniversary: O'Hara

Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Ruth) O’Hara, of 1308 Brendan Dr., Morris, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 23, 2013.

Jim O’Hara and the former Ruth Froehlich exchanged marriage vows on June 23, 1953 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, St. Benedict, Iowa.

Jim was district director for Farmers Home Adm. and later was a real estate agent for Century 21. They have made their home in Morris since 1978.

They are parents of Jerry (Linda) of Yakima, Wash., Dan of Santa Monica, Calif., LaVonne (Michael Dunetts) of Omaha, Neb., Patrick of Grand Canyon, Ariz., Marilyn of Urbana, Ill., Cate of Cincinnati, Ohio, Brenda of Round Lake, Ill., and Christi (Maria O’Brien) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren.

They plan to have a family vacation in Indiana.
