Downers Grove attorney charged with felony theft, wire fraud

DOWNERS GROVE – Downers Grove attorney Michael L. Flynn was indicted on 11 felony charges last month in DuPage County Court resulting from his alleged mismanagement of real estate escrow accounts, according to Downers Grove police.

Flynn, 58, of 1013 Barnsdale Road, La Grange Park, had his legal office in Downers Grove at 942 Maple Ave.

The 11 felony charges include seven counts of wire fraud and four counts of theft of more than $100,000, according to Downers Grove police.

He was still in custody as of Monday, being held on 10 percent of his $150,000 bail.
