Lloyd Everly

ROCK FALLS – Lloyd Everly, 78, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at Rockford Memorial Hospital. He was a Realtor in the Sauk Valley for more than 30 years.

Lloyd was born March 13, 1935, in Rock Falls, the son of Harry and Bernice (Purkapile) Everly. He married Marilyn Joann Clardie on Dec. 13, 1996.

Survivors include his wife of Rock Falls; three daughters, Stacia (Rick) Ricketts of Rock Falls, Shelly (Bubba) Carey of Florida and Cathy (Tom) Flock of Moline; five sons, Scott (Marion) Everly of Florida, Jeff (Sue) Scott of Rock Falls, Asa (Sandy) Scott of Sterling, Randy (Barb) Scott of Ohio, and Ricky (Meeka) Scott of Rock Falls; two sisters, Dolly Gorton of California and Donna (Darrell) Wooldridge of Arizona; four brothers, Darrell (Betty) Waters of Texas, Donald (Pat) Waters of Florida, and Dale (Marilyn) Everly and Doran (Joann) Everly, both of Rock Falls; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Deloris Everly; and one grandson.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, with the Rev. Bob Clardie of Lost Lake Community Church in Lost Nation officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
