They also have 10 grandchildren, Tom Rothery of Eugene, Ore., Sean Rothery of Portland, Ore., Allison (Steve) Gradisher of Manhattan, Ill., Jacob (Favy) Herman of Lockport, Luke Herman of Homer Glen, Julie Toohill of Heyworth, Sarah (Justin) Woodard of Wentzville, Mo., Mark (Mika) Hewitt of Portland, Ore., Justin (Lauren) Blaisdell of Webster City, Iowa, and Caitlin Blaisdell of Sitka, Ala.; and 11 great-grandchildren, Braydan and Hailey Gradisher, Nick, Joel, Allyssa and Evan Woodard, Lauren Toohill, Sen and Emi Hewitt, and Reagan and Reece Blaisdell.
The couple celebrated with their family in June with a weekend at Shallow Brook Farm in rural Bradford, where they were the winner of the Not-So-Newlywed Game. They competed against their four children and spouses, who have also been married 42, 40, 40 and 37 years.
