ROCK FALLS – Inez Sharp Adams, 80, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at her home.
Inez was born Jan. 16, 1934, in Hoxie, Arkansas, the daughter of Robert and Beuhla (Hoard) Peppers. She married Robert Adams on Dec. 20, 1986. He died Sept. 4, 2012. Inez was employed with Lawrence Brothers Co. in Sterling for several years. She was a member of 16th Avenue Church of Christ in Sterling. Inez enjoyed camping, fishing, and going to garage sales.
Survivors include four daughters, Dianna (Butch) Hannan of Sterling, Teresa Adams of Newton, Iowa, Sandy Kopitas of Willington, North Carolina, and Kristine Adams of Morrison; five sons, Relton (Mary) Sharp of Rock Falls, Jerry Sharp of Russellville, Kentucky, Joe (Leanne) Sharp of Rock Falls, Robert (Lori) Adams of Newton, Iowa, and Thomas (Sandy) Adams of Rock Falls; one sister, Arlie Cook of Sutherlin, Oregon; one brother, Billie Ray (Evelyn) Peppers of Fredricktown, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, with Brother Mike Durham and David Schmidt co-officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date.
