Willowbrook High School celebrates homecoming

VILLA PARK – Willowbrook High School celebrated this year’s homecoming with a week’s worth of events.

Activities included a bonfire, powder-puff football game, a school-wide pep assembly, varsity football game and culminated with the homecoming dance.

This year’s homecoming theme was “Around the World.”

Nearly 1,000 students attended the dance.

Refreshments provided by The Brook Catering Co., which is comprised of Willowbrook students who are enrolled in the school’s culinary classes, were served during the event, according to a District 88 email.

Freshmen Adam Sousa and Marissa Marcello, juniors Kevin Miller and Bridget Garner, seniors Sean Worden and Allie Mahal, and sophomores Bryce Hurley and Valerie Wendorf made up Willowbrook’s 2014 homecoming court.
