Safranski-Kasperski

Heather Lynn Safranski and Korby Daniel Kasperski of Oglesby were united in marriage Oct. 11 at Senica’s Oak Ridge in LaSalle by the Rev. Duane B. Kaufman.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Ruth Safranski of Peru. The groom is the son of Daniel and Lisa Kasperski of Ladd.

Rachel Baker and Lexie Leary were the maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Kaylee Ficek, Sarah Sadnick, Rae Coughlin, Allison Hart and Brittany Heuchert. The flower girl was Brooklynn Birkey.

Nick Lower served as the best man. Groomsmen were Mikey Miroux, Brian Pyszka, Wes Hermann, Tyler Dominy, Matt Hart and Mitch Safranski. Ushers were Adam Sadnick, Phil Scott, Chris Hahne, Cyle Dickens and Caleb Dickens. Ring bearers were Antonio and Alejandro Mason.

A reception to honor the couple was also held at Senica’s Oak Ridge in LaSalle.

The couple will take a wedding trip at a later date.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of LaSalle-Peru Township High School, a 2011 graduate of Illinois State University and a 2014 graduate of Illinois Central College with a degree in dental hygiene. She is employed by Rip’s in Ladd as a waitress and substituting at various dental offices as a registered dental hygienist.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Hall Township High School and a 2014 graduate of Illinois State University. He is employed by Headwaters of Havana at the Hennepin Power Station.
