JOLIET – A fireplace fire damaged a Joliet home Sunday.
Battalion Chief Laroy Aldridge said the blaze was reported at 3:53 p.m. in the 1200 block of Brentwood Place. No one was injured.
“The fire is still being investigated, but appears to have started in the fireplace. It spread to the attic and roof before it was contained,” Aldridge said.
