Chip Messiner to perform at Fifth Friday

FRANKLIN GROVE – Chip Messiner, a disc jockey for Rockford radio station Q 98.5 FM, will trade his soundboard for an acoustic guitar and perform at 7 and 9 p.m. Jan. 30 at the H.I. Lincoln Building, 136 N. Elm St.

This special Fifth Fridays show will showcase Messiner’s wide repertoire of songs.

Tickets cost $10 and are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Lincoln, by calling 815-456-3030, and at the door.

Seating is limited, and tickets likely will go quickly, organizers say.
