St. Louis trip nets tourney title for Elmhurst Cheifs Mites Black team

The Elmhurst Chiefs Mites Black team won the title at the 2015 Ultimate Hockey Tournament. ELMHURST – The Elmhurst Chiefs Mites Black team went to the St. Louis area to face a west suburban rival, but the trip was worth it.

The squad topped the Sabres 6-4 in the championship game of the 2015 Ultimate Hockey Tournament at the Rec Plex in St. Peters, Mo., on Jan. 19.

Members of the team include Caden Buenz, Ben Dizillo, Matthew Gleason, Dylan Johnson, Paul Kallianis, Aidan Lynch, Cole Maier, Torran Origitano, Matthew Soehn, Asaiah Vasilopoulos and Ella Zimmerman. The squad is coached by Tom Johnson, Sonny Origitano and Chris Zimmerman.
