Where did you grow up? Geneva. I was born at Community Hospital in Geneva.
Pets? A Bernese mountain dog-Australian shepherd mix named Sam

First job? Paper route
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Forest ranger. I kind of became that. I am a landscape architect and chairman of the Geneva Natural Resources Committee.
A book you’d recommend? “Nature Principle” by Richard Louv

Favorite charity? The Geneva Natural Resources Committee and The Conservation Foundation

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I am the site steward for a 200-acre oak woodland at Fabyan Forest Preserve, and every other Saturday, with volunteers, we spend three hours cutting down invasive buckthorn. To volunteer, send me an email at jwojmack@wrdenvironmental.com.
