Lockport Porters Alumni Hockey Team return to ice to fund scholarships

LOCKPORT – The Lockport Porters Alumni Hockey Team participated in the HOKU Scholars annual High School Alumni Benefit Hockey Tournament at the Seven Bridges Ice House the weekend of April 24.

The HOKU Scholars (formerly Waianae Coast Scholarship Fund) is an integrated, merit-based scholarship program that helps kids from America's most vulnerable communities get into college.

The tournament brought back 16 local high school hockey teams. The Porter alumni team included: Josh Johnson, Joe Boblie, Nick Siroky, Cheri ‘ Peanut ‘ Klosak, Terry ‘ Chooch ’ Klosak, Brandon Deets, Kyle Gaughn, Connor Stevens, Billy Millar, Alex Wirth, Matt Ponschke, Tony Davis, Jameson Edwards and Carter Kernbauer.
