The Lincoln-Way Central High School holds Class of 2015 graduation ceremony

NEW LENOX – The Lincoln-Way Central High School Class of 2015 graduation was a joyous event for the 466 seniors as they received their diplomas.

The commencement exercise was held June 4 in the school’s stadium.

The valedictorian, Daniel Zolecki, and salutatorian, Madeline McLaughlin, led the procession of school board members, administrators, faculty and students onto the stadium field.

The National Anthem was sung by seniors Kevin Beckstrom, Brittany Bender, Elena Gerk and Cody Skaggs. Principal Steve Provis welcomed the crowd of more than 4,500 family members and friends.

Senior class officers Nick Sabatini, president; Emma Wendt, vice-president; Emily Fitzpatrick, secretary; and Nicolette Esparza, treasurer, presented a gift to the Board of Education.
