Kathryn Louise Donaldson,

POLO – Kathryn Louise Donaldson, 88, of Polo, died Monday at Pinecrest Manor in Mount Morris. She had been a homemaker and worked at various places in Polo.

She was born June 27, 1926, in Mount Morris, the daughter of Francis R. and Anne E. Hurd. She married Leon O. Donaldson on Nov. 11, 1945, in Mount Morris. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2003.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra L. (Lowell) Brooks of Marengo and Debbi D. (Dennis) Mumford and Jeanne K. (Michael) Tate, both of Polo; a son, Jeffrey L. (Brenda) Donaldson of Oregon; a daughter-in-law, Betty Donaldson of Polo; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Sara (Jerry) Heffelfinger of Mount Morris and Bobbi (Bob) Cupp of Oregon; and brother, Ray (Lyda) Arnold of Kansas.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Deryl Donaldson; and a brother, Vernon Arnold.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday and the funeral at 2 p.m. Monday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon. A graveside service, with Rob Henson officiating, will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.

Memorials have been established to Pinecrest Manor in Mount Morris and Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon.
