PRINCETON — Ann Kunkel, 80, of Princeton died at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Aug. 19, 1934, in Annawan to Harry and Ruth (Ferguson) Wilson, she married George Bartman Aug. 11, 1951, in Sheffield. He died Nov. 24, 1960. She then married Lawrence "Mick" H. Kunkel Jan. 4, 1969, in Tiskilwa. He survives.
She was a homemaker. She worked at Quad County Counseling for 10 years.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tiskilwa, and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Also surviving are three daughters, Nancy (William "Buddy") Jenks of LaSalle, Debra (Maurice) Thompson of Kewanee and Michelle (Roosevelt) Nicholas of Bloomington; one son, George (Rita) Bartman of Mahopac, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Marc Etter; a great-granddaughter, Ragan DeMaso; and a brother, Lynn Slater.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 13, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton, with Father Jeffrey Stirniman officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Tiskilwa.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 12, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
