Pets? A Staffordshire bull terrier named Nickel and a bull terrier named Dexter – and he’s exactly like he sounds
Who would play you in the movie of your life? Sean Connery
First job? As a ball spotter at a golf course. The guys would hit the ball way over a hill, and you’d go out with a big pole and put it where they hit the ball. I got $10 for a whole day.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I did become what I wanted to be – a lawyer. I do commercial litigation, business disputes.
A book you’d recommend? “I Am Pilgrim” by Terry Hayes

Do you have children? A boy and a girl
Words of wisdom? You only go around once.
Favorite charity? I'm on the board of Golden Corridor Family YMCA. It's the merger of the Elgin Y and the Campanelli Y in Schaumburg into one big organization.
Favorite ice cream flavor? Chocolate peanut butter
Favorite local restaurant? Geneva Ale House
What is an interesting factoid about yourself? My grandfather was fraternity brothers with Ronald Reagan in the Tau Kappa Epsilon or TKE fraternity, so I met him two or three times.
What is special about your car? I bought it in 1984, sold it in 1995 and bought it back again in 2008. We had our first date in that car, and we drove away from our wedding in that car.
