Two McHenry County men were arrested last month in an undercover prostitution sting conducted by Lake County sheriff’s detectives, according to a release.
Michael B. Miller, 51, of Harvard and Glenn R. Parduhn, 67, of McHenry were two of the 14 arrested in the sting, which took place Aug. 6 and 7.
During the two-day operation, which was part of “National Day of Johns,” police placed advertisements on a classified website known as a medium of prostitution and arrested the men who showed up and offered money to the undercover detectives for sexual acts.
Both men were charged with solicitation of a sexual act, a misdemeanor, according to the Lake County Circuit Court.
