Felipe Mendez Ramirez

SAN LUIS POTOSI, Mexico – Felipe Mendez Ramirez, 60, of Sterling, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, in San Luis Potosi.

He was born Aug. 18, 1955. Felipe worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years.

Survivors include his daughter, Felicia Ramirez, and two sons, Felipe Ramirez and Sergio Ramirez, all of Sterling; four grandchildren, Mauricio Garcia, Abrianna Ibarra, Connie Ibarra, and Isaac Ibarra; two brothers, Armando (Gracie) Ramirez and Lalo Ramirez; and four sisters, Teresa Ramirez, Irma (Geraldo) Lopez, Maria de Jesus Ramirez, and Rosa (Arturo) Perez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jorge Ramirez; and special nephew, Sergio Ramirez.

Services were Saturday in San Luis Potosi. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Parish Center in Sterling.
