movie of your life? Helen Hunt
First job? Scooping ice cream at Baskin-Robbins when I was 15. And I had a paper route when I was 4. I did it with my dad, up and down the street.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A doctor and a lawyer. I became a compliance and communications analyst at a futures brokerage, and I’m a part-time writer. I write life stories as well as technical curriculum.
Favorite charity? LivingWell Cancer Resource Center in Geneva. We lost my mom to cancer. Our family came and benefited from LivingWell. We did art therapy together. It was really great.

language? No, but I can read both French and Spanish.
Favorite ice cream flavor? Apple strudel by Oberweis
Words of wisdom? It’s a good life if you don’t weaken, and just keep walking and you will find your way.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I can still do a pretty good cartwheel.
