JOLIET – The 59th Annual Caritas Scholarship Ball will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 at the Bolingbrook Golf Club in Bolingbrook.
Event chairpersons are Terry and Susan D’Arcy of Joliet. University of St. Francis President Arvid C. Johnson and his wife, Anne, will host the event.
The D’Arcy family has attended every Caritas since the event’s inception in 1958. Terry’s parents, John and Jeannette ’49, chaired Caritas in 1980, 1981 and again in 1987 with longtime friends LaVerne and Dorothy Brown, Byron and Marilyn Lee and Patrick and Eileen Webb.
Sue’s parents, Jack and Janice Patterson, helped to schedule for athletic teams, and participated in the golf outing and Brown & Gold fundraisers.
In 2015, 360 guests attended and helped raise $350,000 for student scholarships.
Entertainment will be provided by 7th Heaven. Dancing will follow dinner and auctions.
