GRANVILLE — Grace L. Salsman, 86, of Granville died on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at Aperion Care in Spring Valley.
Grace was born Dec. 8, 1929, in Marshall County to William and Grace (Arteberry) Thomas. She married Coye Salsman on Dec. 2, 1950 at Wesleyan Methodist Church in Princeton.
She graduated from Henry High School. Grace was the bookkeeper for Coye's Service Station and a homemaker.
Grace is survived by her husband, Coye Salsman of Granville; one son, Ron (Mariam) Salsman of Granville; two daughters, Sandi Andracke of Granville and Kathie (Ken) Allen of Tiskilwa; one sister, Viola (Richard) Bush of Speer; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Lloyd, Chester and Merle; and one sister, Armenta.
A private service was held Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville with Pastor Gary McKee officiating. Burial was in the Putnam Cemetery in Putnam.
A private visitation was held prior to the service at the funeral home.
