To the Editor:
Pre-World War II, the Nazi’s confiscated all personal weapons, then put many of their people into concentration camps.
The British Isles had been disarmed prior to that time and when the war started, U.S. citizens donated guns so they could attempt to protect themselves.
The current left wing politicians in this country are trying to restrict and confiscate our guns. The media is demonizing the police no matter what they do.
A Democratic candidate said that one of the Republicans running for president was a recruitment help to ISIS because of his remarks about Muslims. Does she think ISIS would be upset by their trying to take our means of self-defense away? Let’s face it, we may have to protect ourselves against these radicals.
Wake up people. We need to start thinking with some common sense if we are to survive. Enough political correctness and bowing and scraping to every fly-by-night organization and, for that matter, individual that pops up with complaints.
Let them clean their own closets before they throw rocks at someone else.
We need to stand firm on our rights and to our rights of self-protection.
