FRANKFORT – On Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, the Frankfort Preservation Foundation's newest project, a clock tower with memorial plaque base, was dedicated and gifted to the village of Frankfort by the Foundation.
The clock was installed in late November just south of Old Plank Trail at White Street in downtown Frankfort. Its first honorees are Paul and Vicki Lambrecht, key members of the grass-roots effort to preserve the Frankfort Water Tower, which led to the creation of the Frankfort Preservation Foundation in 1993.
Funds for the clock were raised from donations, including a generous contribution from the Lambrecht family, along with donations made to the Vicki Lambrecht Memorial Fund at the Frankfort Area Historical Society, as well as from Frankfort Area Historical Society general funds.
In addition, monies were contributed through the efforts of the FPF board and community volunteers who have worked the FPF food booth at the Frankfort Fall Festival over the last five years.
The following individuals assisted in the installation of the clock:

• Cesar Mireles
• Lupe Ortis
• Terry Kestel
