Michele Kirkpatrick

PRINCETON — Michele E. Kirkpatrick, 45, of Princeton passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Born Oct. 17, 1970, in Boonton, N.J., she married Pastor Douglas A. Kirkpatrick July 11, 1998, in Fishers, Ind. He survives.

She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Princeton Wesleyan Church, was the church business manager and the church co-worship leader.

Also surviving are her three children, Rachel, Mark and David Kirkpatrick at home; her mother, Joan Downey of Wyanet; her father, Bruce (Paula) Pembor Sr. of Franklin, Ind.; her stepchildren, Kristine (Ryan) Smith of Indianapolis and Tim (Katie) Kirkpatrick of Louisiana; two stepgrandchildren; her brother, Bruce (Stacey) Pembor Jr. of Indianapolis; her stepbrother, Nathan Luzny of Alaska; her niece, Wendy Pembor of Florida; and several stepnieces and stepnephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and a daughter, Cora Lorraine Kirkpatrick.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, in St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Princeton, with the Rev. Dean Pierce of the DeKalb Wesleyan Church officiating. Interment will follow in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, in the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home in Princeton.
