Best of Wheaton voting runs through Feb. 22

WHEATON – Do you have a favorite Wheaton business and want everyone in the city to know it?

Voting for the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce's seventh annual Best of Wheaton contest runs through Feb. 22.

The chamber collected nominations earlier this year and now is asking people to vote for their favorite businesses, nonprofits, restaurants and more.

"We like the way that it raises the visibility of our members in our community, gives our members an opportunity to reach out to their customer base and build their fan club and the chance for the chamber to direct people to our website," said Kerry O'Brien, executive director of the chamber.

Fans can vote once per day per email address, and final votes can be cast until the end of the day Feb. 22. The winners will be announced March 10 at an event at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville.

Categories include large business, retail business, small service business, casual and fine restaurants, specialty food business, fitness business, health care business, nonprofit organization – service and nonprofit organization – arts and community enrichment. The awards also will honor nominees for top 30 under 40 young professionals, best economic development project and multi-generational family businesses.
