Dr. Sunitha Avula joins Women’s Primary Health Partners in Homer Glen

NEW LENOX —Dr. Sunitha Avula, experienced internal medicine physician, has joined Women’s Primary Health Partners—Drs. Roseann Horan and Marie Veldman.

Avula is board certified in internal medicine. She received her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in India and completed her internship and residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Avula only provides primary care, such as regular check-ups, but is also trained to solve diagnostic problems and manage chronic conditions. She has a particular interest in diabetes, preventative medicine, and weight loss.

Avula is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Indian Medical Council. She is on the medical staff at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

New patients – women 16 and up – are welcome.
