CHICAGO — Anita Lynn Bailey (Fiedler), 53, of Chicago passed away at 3 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst. She was formerly of Granville and resided in Hillside, Ill.
Anita was born Oct. 22, 1962, in Spring Valley to Kenneth and Marilyn Fiedler. She was one of a set of triplet sisters.
She graduated from Putnam County High School and graduated summa cum laude from Illinois State University. Her professional career was in the insurance field, most recently with CNA Insurance and Illinois Medical Society of Chicago.
Anita loved reading, movies and spending time with her three dogs. She was an enormous Chicago Cubs and Blackhawk’s fan.
Surviving are her mother, Marilyn Fiedler of Granville; one brother, Richard (Christine) Fiedler of Granville; four sisters, Suzanne Hollingshead of Spring Valley, Nancy (Gary) Koehler of Memphis, Tenn., Amy Fiedler (Mike Holler) of Du Pere, Wis., and Ann (Bradley) Meisenheimer of Sammamish, Wash. Anita is also survived by her beloved son, Colin Bailey, 17, of LaGrange and her fiancé, Douglas Staczic of Hillside. Other survivors include several aunts, cousins, numerous nieces, nephews, great–nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Fiedler, her maternal and paternal grandparents, and aunts and uncles.
Her funeral will be a private graveside family service. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to the Colin Bailey College Fund.
