PRINCETON — Michael David Rieker, 53, of Princeton passed away at 10:43 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.
He was born March 5, 1963, in Mendota to Gary and Judith (Castner).
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois. He was employed by Ameriprise Financial in Peru for several years.
He attended Bunker Hill Church of God and was a member of the Princeton Game & Fish Club.
Surviving are his parents, Gary and Sandra Rieker of Princeton; the love of his life, Sharlotte Smith of Princeton; and Sierra Smith of Princeton and Raider Keenan of Colorado Springs, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Glenna Rieker, and Gale and Doris Castner; his mother, Judith Rieker; and twin brothers, Matthew Rieker and Mark Rieker.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 21, at the Evangelical Covenant Church, Main and Central, Princeton, with the Rev. Derek Boggs officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded after the services at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Homes, Inc. Crematory, Princeton.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, 30 W. Mechanic St., Princeton.
