Yorkville OKs water tower lease

The Yorkville City Council agreed to lease space to a new tenant, but you would have to look way up to see the property.

TCG Solutions will lease space for their telecommunications equipment and antennae structures on top of the city’s water towers at a cost of $50 per post per month. The agreement will also allow for easement rights and access.

The company, run by Jeff Norris of Montgomery, provides remote, onsite and virtual solutions for business IT needs. They are members of the Yorkville Chamber of Commerce.

Current plans call for installation of antennae at the Bristol Bay water tower, although the agreement provides the option of expanding to other city water towers.

According to City Manager Bart Olson, TCG is the second internet service provider to lease water tower space for antennae, the first being Intelligent Computing Solutions.
